Day 1Goa

On reaching Goa airport, meet our IHPL representative who will transfer to the resort. After the check-in formalities, take rest for the day. In the evening, enjoy a stroll around the beach or indulge in your favorite beach activity. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 2North Goa

After breakfast drive to North Goa. North Goa is dotted with some of the most beautiful beaches of Goa. Dona Paula, Calangute, Baga and Miramar Beach are popular beaches. Certainly, it is home to a number of tourist attractions like Fort Aguada, Basilica of Bom Jesus as well as Se Cathedral.

Visit “Cidade de Goa”, the original name of the ‘city of Goa’. Basilica Bom Jesus, dedicated to Infant Jesus has the sacred remains of St Francis Xavier. Other churches include St Cajetan, St Francis of Assisi, Se Cathedral as well as Church of St. Monica.

Visit the Museum of Christian Art, which is one of its kind museum in Asia. It houses a collection of items like gold and precious stones and Rosary. Visit the Archeological Museum.

Later, travel to “Solar Souto Maior”, an aristocratic mansion dating back to the year 1585. The mansion houses a treasure of artifacts.

Return to Panjim and enjoy viewing its unique colonial architecture. Lunch at Panjim.

Post lunch, head to Baga Beach, the most popular, happening and beautiful beach of Goa. Enjoy water sports and shopping in the Tibetan market.

Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 3South Goa

After breakfast, head to South Goa. Sightseeing at major attractions including Colva Beach, Mangeshi Temple, as well as Santa Durga Temple. Visit Margao, the capital of Salcette taluka and headquarters of the South Goa district.

Visit the historical “Largo de Igreja”, the Church square of Margao. This church square is dotted with beautiful old buildings as well as the Church of the Holy Spirit. The church is a grand example of the Baroque style in Goa. 

Proceed to “Ancestral Goa”, to experience Goan rural life. The village has the number of artifact centers, galleries, and museums. There is a laterite sculpture of Saint Mirabai, the longest in India. The star attraction is the “Bigfoot”, which is a large footprint.

Visit the grand house- Menezes Braganza house, in Chandor. This palatial structure is from the 17th century. The house is now divided into two separate houses, with a common entrance.

The east wing belongs to Pereira-Braganza family. It has a small chapel with relics of St. Francis Xavier as well as artifacts, collected by the family. The house also has a large ballroom and a Salon. Tiles from Portugal, antique chandeliers from Europe and beautifully carved, ornate rosewood furniture adds to the beauty. Check out the pair of high-backed chairs with the family crest, a gift from King Dom Luis of Portugal.

The west wing belongs to the Menezes Braganza family. It features exquisite furniture as well as Chinese porcelain from Macau, and family portraits. There is the first private library of Goa. It has a collection of 5,000 leather bound books personally collected by Luis de Menezes Braganza (1878-1938), a reputed journalist.

Finally, stay overnight at the hotel.
